Guest Lecture – Navigating PGDM-IB Journey Successfully
Jagan Institute of Management Studies hosted an insightful guest lecture on 12th July 2025, specially organised for the PGDM-IB (2025–27) batch. The session was conducted by our distinguished alumna Ms. Riya Saini (Batch 2018–2020), who is currently working with S&P Global. With over five years of experience in data research, analytics, and business intelligence across the financial services sector, Ms. Saini brought valuable insights drawn from her professional journey. She holds a B.Com and a PGDM in Finance, along with certifications like AI for Everyone, and possesses expertise in analytical tools such as SQL Server, Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite.
The session began with an inspiring quote by Steve Jobs: “The only way to do great work is to love what you do.” This set a reflective tone as Ms. Saini walked the students through her PGDM experience, challenges faced, and the strategies that helped her transition successfully into the corporate world.
