The MarQuest Club of JIMS Rohini, Sector 5, organized SPINNOVATE, a marketing strategy-based activity on August 26, 2025. The competition aimed to test participants’ creativity, strategic thinking, and advertising skills by engaging them in exciting real-world marketing scenarios.
The event began with the round 1: Ghibli Art – the eliminator round. The event began with an exciting and creative challenge titled Ghibli Art, where 10 well-known advertisements were reimagined in the distinctive Ghibli-style artwork. From each team had to identify the brand. This round tested the participants’ observation skills and brand awareness in a fun and engaging manner. After a competitive start, 10 teams showcasing their strong marketing acumen and creativity and having highest score successfully qualified for the round 2: Spin the Wheel – Make Your Own Brand Ad.
The second and final round, Spin the Wheel, pushed the boundaries of creativity and strategic thinking. Teams were asked to create a marketing strategy (STP) for a bran entering completely new industry. Each team were made to spun two spinning wheels. Wheel 1 was featuring names of the prominent brands like Tesla, Haldiram’s, etc and Wheel 2 was featuring industries such as Automobile, IT, FMCG, and more. After spinning the wheels, teams were asked to create a marketing campaign for a brand entering a completely new industry.
The team were asked to prepare a power point presentation for the same mentioning the product name, tagline, and a jingle (if any). Team were judge based on the criteria such as creativity, originality, relevance, and presentation skills ensuring a fair and holistic evaluation of both innovation and execution. Teams were felicitated by our esteemed Judges Dr. Vikas Tyagi and Dr. Himanshu Goel. Event was also graced by PGDM - Dean Pratima Daipuria and Dr. Monika Agarwal. Marquest, JIMS's marketing club, was successful in its goal of engaging students and providing an enjoyable yet demanding marketing activity.
