Jagan Institute of Management Studies (JIMS) Rohini, in collaboration with OPPO India, organized the OPPO Campus Advocate Session on 14 October 2025 at the JIMS Rohini Campus. The session was conducted for students across all PGDM verticals, with a special focus on the PGDM Marketing batch 2025–2027. The initiative aimed to empower students to represent OPPO on campus while gaining practical exposure to contemporary marketing practices, brand advocacy, and creative content development.
The session was graced by Mr. Vikrant Sobti (Manager – Retail Marketing, OPPO India), Ms. Samira Khan (Deputy Manager, OPPO India), and Mr. Nongthangba Thangjam (Trainee Specialist, Public Affairs, OPPO India). The speakers shared their professional journeys and provided valuable insights into youth marketing, digital communication, campaign strategy, and the selection process for the Campus Advocate Program.
With over 140 registrations across PGDM programs, the session witnessed enthusiastic participation and showcased the students’ creativity and passion for marketing. The OPPO team emphasized how today’s youth can serve as dynamic brand storytellers through strategic content creation and influencer-driven engagement.
Key Highlights of the Session:
- Program Orientation:
The OPPO India team outlined the structure and objectives of the Campus Advocate Program, highlighting key benefits such as AICTE-certified certification, mentorship opportunities, and performance-based rewards, including Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) for outstanding participants.

- Reel-Making Challenge:
Students, grouped into teams of ten, engaged in an exciting hands-on activity where they created unboxing reels for OPPO’s latest smartphone. The challenge encouraged participants to apply concepts of creative marketing, teamwork, and storytelling in a real-time brand simulation.

- Interactive Q&A Session:
The event concluded with an open discussion where students explored emerging trends in digital branding, campaign execution, influencer marketing, and youth-centric brand engagement.
The session concluded with a vote of thanks extended to the OPPO India team for their time and valuable insights, and to the faculty coordinators — Dr. R.K. Singh, Ms. Ambika Bhatia, and Mr. Ashok Bhagat  — for facilitating this successful industry-academia collaboration.
The OPPO Campus Advocate Session at JIMS Rohini seamlessly combined experiential learning and creative exploration, inspiring students to integrate innovation, communication, and content strategy into their future marketing endeavors.
