The PGDM–International Business Department of Jagan Institute of Management Studies (JIMS), Rohini organized an industry visit on 15th September 2025 to Munjal Showa Ltd., IMT Manesar Plant for the students of batch 2025–27.
Munjal Showa Ltd., a flagship company of the Hero Group in collaboration with Showa Corporation (Japan), is a leading manufacturer of shock absorbers and precision components for two- and four-wheelers. With advanced technology, strict quality control, and global partnerships with companies like Hero MotoCorp, Honda, and Maruti Suzuki, it has emerged as a key player in the automobile supply chain.
During the visit, students were taken through the manufacturing plant, where they observed automation in production lines, assembly of shock absorbers, and rigorous quality-check mechanisms. Company representatives explained how lean manufacturing, precision engineering, and vendor coordination play a vital role in ensuring efficiency and international competitiveness.
