JIMS, Rohini organized an industrial visit to the Mother Dairy Plant, New Delhi for the students of PGDM . The visit aimed to provide students with practical exposure to large-scale operations and management practices within the FMCG sector.
Mother Dairy plays a crucial role in ensuring the continuous supply of milk and dairy products to Delhi and several other cities across India, even during peak summer months. The company offers a wide range of products including milk, curd, yogurt, ice cream, and other dairy-based items.

Students were then taken on a guided tour of the production unit, where they witnessed various stages of milk processing including cleansing, purification, filtration, standardization, homogenization, and pasteurization.
In addition to production processes, students also gained valuable insights into the supply chain management system that enables efficient nationwide distribution of Mother Dairy products.
