Yarn to Store: Textile-to-Retail Value Chain Session

The PGDM Retail Management Department (Trimester II, Batch 2025–2027) at Jagan Institute of Management Studies (JIMS), Rohini organized an insightful and interactive guest session on “Yarn to Store: The Textile to Retail Value Chain” on November 1, 2025.

The session was conducted by Mr. Udit Babbar, Director of Kapaas Velvets India, a leading name in premium velvet manufacturing and textile innovation. Mr. Babbar is an experienced textile entrepreneur with a deep understanding of fabric technology, supply chain management, and sustainable textile practices. He is also the founder of PavitrMitr — a social initiative that promotes eco-friendly textile practices and sustainable living, aimed at spreading awareness about mindful fashion consumption.
