JIMS, Rohini organised a hands-on workshop on “Decision making through Analytics” for PGDM-Second Year students to make them industry ready. This workshop was taken by Mr. Murshidul Anowar, Founder of Skills Binder. The session began with an engaging and fast-paced quiz focusing on basic Excel functions and introductory data analysis concepts which created an energetic start to the workshop. Students worked on hands on Excel dataset, applying key analytical tools to clean, filter and extract meaningful insights from real data. The workshop then moved towards the advanced part of Tableau, where they explored calculated fields, interactive dashboards and the art of visual storytelling for decision making. This session gave hands-on workshop on analytics, covering Excel, Tableau and Data Storytelling. Students explored real datasets, built dashboards, and learned how to derive insights for decision-making. The energy, curiosity and participation the students made this session exceptional.
