Pitch Perfect 2.0: Live Case Study Competition Bridging Strategy and Industry

The Outreach Club of JIMS, Rohini, successfully concluded Pitch Perfect 2.0 on 28th Nov 2025, a premier case study competition designed to test the strategic acumen and problem-solving skills of PGDM students. Going beyond theoretical knowledge, the competition offered a unique value proposition: a live case study based on "Just Go Fix," a dynamic startup based in Bihar. The event challenged participants to analyze the company’s real-world operational bottlenecks and propose actionable solutions. The competition was structured into three distinct rounds to filter the most innovative minds.

In round 1, preliminary screening (November 6-7, 2025), teams were given 24 hours to prepare and submit PowerPoint presentations for the given case. The presentation was evaluated on three core pillars: content quality, creative visualisation, and the smart application of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Out of a competitive pool, 45 entries were reviewed, and 20 teams were shortlisted for the semi-finals. Furthermore, in Round 2: The Semi-Finals (November 8, 2025), the atmosphere on campus was electric as the 20 shortlisted teams presented their strategies in an offline setting. The marathon session, spanning 4-5 hours, was judged by an esteemed panel comprising faculty member Dr Deepti Kakar, alongside distinguished seniors such as Mittul, Ritika, Vanshika, Ayushi, Anshika, Aditya, Rahul and our Alumni super-seniors Ms Dakshita and Ms Anjali of PGDM Batch(20232-25). The participants displayed exceptional presentation skills and strategic thinking. By the end of the day, the top 5 teams were selected for the grand finale.

In round 3, that is the Grand Finale (November 19, 2025), the top 5 teams faced the ultimate test, presenting their solutions directly to the Founder of "Just Go Fix." This session lasted 2-3 hours and provided students with the rare opportunity to interact with an industry practitioner. The founder offered real-time feedback on the feasibility of the proposed solutions, bridging the gap between classroom learning and on-ground execution. On November 28, 2025, the Prize Distribution Ceremony was held, where the winners will be felicitated for their outstanding contributions by Dr Pratima Daipuria (Dean, PGDM), Dr Sugandha Sharma, Dr Himsnahu Goel and Dr Shrajal Gupta (club mentor).

The event was a resounding success, executed seamlessly by the Outreach Club. It not only provided "Just Go Fix" with fresh perspectives on their business challenges but also gave students a platform to showcase their corporate readiness.
