Business Plan Evaluation & Exhibition at JIMS Rohini

An Entrepreneurship-focused academic event titled Business Plan Evaluation/Exhibition was organized by PGDM, JIMS Rohini as part of the Project Based Learning. The event was conducted with the objective of providing students with practical exposure to business planning, startup evaluation and real-world entrepreneurial feedback from industry experts. The initiative aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical execution by enabling students to present their business ideas before an experienced evaluation panel. The event was organized under the guidance of Dr. Sheetal Chadda, Incharge- PBL(Entrepreneurship and Family Business Projects)

The event commenced with an online interactive session by Mr. Nikhil Chainani, Co-Founder and CEO, Suitable.ai, who addressed students on the growing importance of Artificial Intelligence in modern businesses. He explained the practical applications of AI across industries and cleared students’ doubts and misconceptions related to AI adoption, future career relevance, and ethical considerations. The session helped students gain clarity on how AI can be leveraged as a strategic business tool rather than just a technical concept.

The evaluation was done by eminent industry professionals and academicians including Dr. Nancy Juneja (Founder & CEO, MENTORx), Akshdeep Singh (CEO & Co-founder, Chronicles Sporting), Nikhil Chainani (Co-founder & CEO, Suitable.ai), Jitendra Narayan (Business Coach & Specialist at Bio-CNG, LLC), and Dr. Ramesh Kumar (Entrepreneurship Educator at SSCBS).

Judges shared valuable entrepreneurial guidance with the students. Dr. Nancy Juneja encouraged students to “test the waters,” stay connected, and assured continued mentorship support. Dr. Ramesh Kumar emphasized the importance of discussing ideas with the right people who truly understand the business concept and advised students to develop a go-getter attitude. Mr. Jitendra Narayan highlighted the importance of viewing entrepreneurship as an opportunity to learn rather than focusing on winning or losing, and encouraged students to understand their roles clearly. 

Overall, the Business Plan Evaluation/Exhibition proved to be an enriching learning experience for the students. It offered hands-on exposure to startup pitching, critical evaluation, and industry-level feedback. The event successfully nurtured entrepreneurial thinking, innovation, and confidence among students, making it a valuable step towards their professional development.
