The PGDM Retail Management Department at Jagan Institute of Management Studies (JIMS), Rohini organized an insightful alumni session titled “From Research to Retail Decisions: How Data & Consumer Insights Drive Successful Retail Strategies” on 17 January 2025. The session aimed to enhance students’ understanding of how data analytics and consumer insights play a critical role in strategic decision-making within the retail industry.
The session was conducted by Dr. Deblina Vashistha, Alumna of PGDM – Marketing & International Business (2003–2005) and currently serving as an Academic Coach and Online Facilitator at Victoria University, Melbourne, Australia. The objective of the session was to expose students to the practical application of research and consumer data in shaping effective retail strategies, thereby bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world retail decision-making.
