JIMS, Rohini organized a guest session for PGDM students on “Project Management Essentials” on 10th Jan 2026 with an objective of equipping them with practical knowledge of project planning, execution, and control in dynamic organizational environments.
The session was conducted by Ms. Rakhi Jagdish Jawaria, Head – Operations and Human Resources, NI3SYS, an experienced professional with strong expertise in operations management, human resources, and project execution. She provided valuable insights into core project management principles, emphasizing the importance of effective planning, scheduling, resource allocation, leadership, and communication in managing project teams.
The session also covered strategies for managing project risks, timelines, and stakeholder expectations, supported by practical examples and real-life industry scenarios from operations-led projects. The interactive and experiential nature of the session enabled students to relate theoretical frameworks to practical workplace situations, enhancing their understanding of project management fundamentals, industry expectations, and the application of project management tools in real-world business contexts.
This session enabled PGDM students to gain practical exposure to essential project management skills, preparing them for future managerial and leadership roles.
