The PGDM–International Business Department of Jagan Institute of Management Studies (JIMS), Rohini organized a guest session on 29th November 2025 on the topic “Influencer Marketing Unlocked” for the students of Batch 2025–27. The session was conducted by Mr. Ankit Arora, Region Head, Zee Media Corporation Ltd, and Alumnus PGDM (2010–2012). The session aimed to provide students with insights into the evolving world of influencer marketing and its growing impact on modern business and brand communication.
Mr. Arora discussed the real challenges, potential, and rapidly changing landscape of influencer marketing in today’s digital economy. He explained the role of influencers in shaping consumer perceptions, building engagement, and driving brand communication. He also highlighted the importance of authenticity, data-driven strategies, relevant content, and ethical marketing practices, along with the key skills required to succeed in this dynamic industry. Through examples and interactive discussion, students gained a clearer understanding of content-driven marketing and the future scope of influencer-led brand growth.
The session concluded with a heartfelt thanks to Mr. Ankit Arora for sharing his valuable industry insights and time. Students of Batch 2025–27 left the session with greater clarity about the influencer marketing landscape and confidence to navigate the evolving digital marketing industry.
