The Blood Donation Camp was successfully organized by JIMS Rohini in collaboration with Hindu Rao Hospital on 5th February 2026 at the institute campus. The initiative was undertaken with the objective of promoting voluntary blood donation, spreading awareness about the importance of safe blood transfusion, and encouraging social responsibility among students, faculty, and staff members.
The medical team from Hindu Rao Hospital, comprising experienced doctors, nurses, and technical staff, ensured that the entire donation process was conducted in a safe, hygienic, and systematic manner. Prior to donation, all volunteers underwent proper medical screening, including hemoglobin testing, blood pressure check, and health history assessment, to ensure their eligibility and well-being. Necessary precautions and post-donation care were provided to every donor.
The camp witnessed an enthusiastic response from students, faculty members, and administrative staff, reflecting the strong sense of community service upheld by the institution. A significant number of units of blood were collected during the drive, which will contribute to saving numerous lives in hospitals and emergency situations. Donors were provided with refreshments and certificates of appreciation as a token of gratitude for their noble contribution.
