The PGDM Department of JIMS Rohini successfully organized an insightful online session on “Sustainable Investing and Green Finance” on 20th January 2026 for PGDM students. The session was conducted by Mr. Punit Kumar, Senior Manager at Canara Bank, with the objective of enhancing students’ understanding of sustainable financial practices and their growing relevance in today’s global economy.
Mr. Kumar began the session by explaining the core concepts of sustainable investing, emphasizing how financial decisions can align with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles. He highlighted the urgent need to shift towards green finance to combat climate change, promote responsible business practices, and ensure long-term economic sustainability.
