JIMS, Rohini organized an Industrial Visit to the OPPO Manufacturing Plant, Noida, on 12th February 2026 to offer PGDM students meaningful industry exposure. The group received a warm welcome from the company officials.
The visit commenced with an engaging presentation by Mr. Lalit Chaudhary, Plant HR/IR Head, OPPO India, who provided valuable insights into the company’s operations, manufacturing processes, logistics framework, and organizational culture, with a focus on efficiency and real-time production systems. This was followed by a guided tour of the production facility, where students closely observed the Surface Mount Technology (SMT) unit and the final assembly line, gaining first hand experience of advanced automation, quality assurance, and synchronized workflow processes. Students also learned about OPPO’s emphasis on indigenous sourcing, highlighting its contribution to the ‘Make in India’ initiative.
Overall, the visit was a highly enriching learning experience, successfully bridging academic concepts with real-world industrial practices and deepening students’ understanding of operations and supply chain management.
