The PGDM Department of JIMS, Rohini successfully organized an impactful workshop on “Navigating the Workplace: Negotiation, Conflict and Emotional Intelligence for Early Career Professionals” on 6th February 2026. The session was conducted by Ms. Nidhika Ahuja, HR Manager, Fidelity International, with the aim of equipping students with essential soft skills required to thrive in dynamic professional environments.
Ms. Ahuja began the workshop by emphasizing the importance of emotional intelligence in building strong workplace relationships and enhancing individual performance. She explained how self-awareness, empathy, and effective communication contribute to better teamwork and leadership. The session further explored practical negotiation techniques, focusing on preparing for discussions, understanding perspectives, and achieving win-win outcomes.
