JIMS Rohini conducted a workshop on FinTech and Digital Banking for PGDM/IB/RM students on 8th and 12th March 2026. The session was led by Mr. Vineet Ranjan, Head – Risk and Strategic Alliances at Kosh, with the aim of helping students understand the fast-changing world of financial technology. The workshop focused on connecting classroom learning with real industry practices.
Mr. Ranjan explained how technology is transforming traditional banking. Students learned about digital payments, mobile banking, blockchain, artificial intelligence in banking, cybersecurity and the role of FinTech startups. He also discussed how digital platforms have improved customer experience, financial access and efficiency in banking operations.
Through interactive discussions and real-life examples, students gained insights into current industry trends and career opportunities in FinTech. The workshop also covered topics like regulations, risk management, and the importance of data security in digital transactions. Case studies helped students understand how companies are using new technologies to stay competitive.
Students actively participated by asking questions and sharing their views on the future of digital finance. Overall, the workshop was informative and engaging.
