The FPM Department at Jagan Institute of Management Studies (JIMS), Rohini, recently organized a 2-day workshop on “Advanced Research Methodology and Contemporary Publishing Practices” on 22–23 June 2026 led by Dr. Ajay Kumar Chauhan, Founder and Director-SixthQResearchH LLP.
The workshop focused on enhancing the research capabilities of faculty members and research scholars by providing them with in-depth knowledge of contemporary research practices. The first day of the workshop emphasized on identifying meaningful research problems, journal selection techniques, effective use of AI in research and the strategies to minimize AI dependency and plagiarism. Participants were also introduced to advanced research tools and frameworks such as Bibliometric Analysis & Biblioshiny, Systematic Literature Review (SLR), and TCCM & ADO frameworks, along with various AI tools for research.
The second day of the workshop focused on conceptualization and theoretical linkages, including the development of conceptual models and the application of TISM, ISM, and MICMAC analysis. Additionally, the workshop provided guidance on research paper structuring, academic writing and publication strategy.
Overall, the workshop provided valuable insights into advanced research techniques and contemporary publication practices, thus equipping the participants with practical skills for conducting high-quality academic research.
