JIMS Rohini Organises Experiential Team-Building Workshop for New PGDM Batch

Jagan Institute of Management Studies (JIMS), Rohini, organised the highly engaging workshop on 3rd and 4th July 2026 for PGDM/IB/RM students. The experiential learning sessions were facilitated by Dr. Subrat Kumar, CEO, People Labs an accomplished trainer with over 14 years of professional experience, renowned for his interactive teaching methodology and dynamic engagement style.

Designed to go beyond conventional ice-breaking exercises, the Activity aimed to develop essential managerial competencies such as teamwork, leadership, effective communication, strategic thinking, problem-solving, adaptability and mutual trust. Through a series of thoughtfully curated experiential activities, students were encouraged to step out of their comfort zones, collaborate with their peers and apply their critical thinking skills in real-time situations.

A series of engaging team-building activities across the campus, including War Cry, Human Ladder, Build the Tallest Tower, and several other collaborative challenges. Each activity was thoughtfully designed to foster teamwork, effective communication, leadership, and problem-solving, while encouraging participants to achieve shared objectives within stipulated timeframes.

Following each activity, Dr. Kumar facilitated insightful debriefing sessions that enabled students to reflect on their experiences and draw meaningful connections to real-world managerial scenarios. These discussions reinforced the importance of trust, collaboration, coordination, decision-making, resilience, adaptability, and collective accountability in achieving organisational success, providing students with valuable lessons that extend beyond the classroom.

.The sessions witnessed enthusiastic participation and fostered a vibrant learning environment where students not only built strong interpersonal relationships but also developed greater self-awareness and confidence. Students had developed a deeper appreciation for the power of collaboration, effective leadership and experiential learning.
