JIMS Rohini organised an insightful academic session for the PGDM-International Business and Retail Management of batch (2026–28) on the topic “Contemporary Practices in Accounting: Transforming Business Reporting in the Digital Age on 10th Aug 2026. The session was conducted by Mr. Tarun Kehair, CFA and FRM Coach, with the objective of providing students with practical insights and industry exposure beyond the classroom. who brought valuable industry-oriented perspectives to the evolving landscape of accounting and business reporting.
The session focused on how rapid technological advancements are transforming traditional accounting practices and reshaping the way organisations generate, analyse, and communicate financial information. Mr. Kehair highlighted the growing significance of digital tools, automation, data analytics, and technology-driven reporting systems in enhancing the efficiency, accuracy, transparency, and accessibility of business reporting.
